DAY 1 JAISALMER – ARRIVAL

Pick up from the Airport or Railway Station of Jaisalmer and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, a visit, dedicated to the 1971 Indo-Pak war also known as Longewala War shown in the movie Border. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Monuments & Attractions: War Museum.

DAY 2 – JAISALMER – TANOT – LOGEWALA – JAISALMER (295KMS/6HRS)

After breakfast drive to Tanot Rai Mata temple located 120km far from Jaisalmer. This temple has a history of the India-Pakistan war of 1965. Hundreds of shells fallen here did not explode. Some bombs are on display at the temple. Maintained and managed by Border Security Force of India. Later drive to Logewala the Battle of Longewala was one of the first major engagements in the western sector during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

DAY 3 – JAISALMER VISIT & SAFARI IN THAR DESERT

After breakfast, visit the Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site. It is the oldest living fort in India built on a small Hill. This majestic fort is also known as the Golden Fort or Sonar Quila. Later, visit Jain Temple, located centrally inside the fort. Then, visit Salim Singh ki haveli, a very beautiful haveli originally built in the 17th century by Salim Singh. Later visit Patwaon-Ki-Haveli and Nathmal ji ki haveli. In the afternoon, have lunch then visit Gadisisar Lake. In the evening, visit the Thar Desert and enjoy a camel ride, optional jeep ride, musical evening with folk dance and dinner, and overnight in tented accommodation.

DAY 4 – DEPARTURE FROM JAISALMER

After breakfast, transfer to Jaisalmer airport or railway station as per your departure schedule for onward destination.
